What You Will Learn

The Certificate in Fundamentals of Regulation Workshop will appeal to anyone who is seeking to learn more about professional -regulation in the Canadian context. This “crash course” program has been designed to provide attendees with content that is both practical and informative, featuring presentations from experts in their respective fields.


Join us on October 21st, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m Eastern Time for this comprehensive virtual workshop. Hands-on activities will link the theory to practice ensuring you come away with knowledge and tips that may be instantly applied to your work.

Past participants of this highly-rated session include: staff who have been working for a regulatory body for less than three years; board/council members who wish to learn more about how to ensure public protection in the regulatory sector; those who may have relied primarily on on-the-job training to gain knowledge and skills in the area; regulators seeking to enhance their peer network; and individuals seeking a “sampler” of topics in regulation.

CNAR will host three online sessions starting October 21st.The second and third are scheduled for January and April 2021. This timetable provides participants with the opportunity to immediately apply session knowledge and tips in their work context.

 

This workshop is one of six in CNAR's 2020 workshop series.
