CNAR is pleased to offer CNAR members our latest eBook. This eBook focuses on Creating Relevant and Evidence-Informed Standards of Practice. In this eBook, we explore what triggers the need to develop or revise standards of practice, how unique sets of circumstances determine regulators’ approach to stakeholder and public engagement, and key takeaways about achieving evidence-informed standards of practice. Insights are drawn from the CNAR 2022 presentations “Evidence-Based Standards of Practice Reform: A Case from British Columbia” and “A Collaborative Professional Standard: Indigenous Cultural Safety, Cultural Humility & Anti-Racism.”
